The property was acquired in 2018 by a New Yorker who fell in love with the town and its surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La r\u00e9sidence a ouvert ses portes aux artistes r\u00e9sidents \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9t\u00e9 2020,<\/strong> Apr\u00e8s trois longues ann\u00e9es de r\u00e9novation, la maison a une longue <a href=\"https:\/\/lamaisondebeaumont.com\/fr\/la-maison-de-beaumont-history\/\">histoire<\/a>, datant de l'\u00e9poque m\u00e9di\u00e9vale. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite sur les ruines du ch\u00e2teau de Beaumont au d\u00e9but du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle et a d'abord servi de r\u00e9sidence au repr\u00e9sentant du roi de France.
