The property was acquired in 2018 by a New Yorker who fell in love with the town and its surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Het residentieprogramma opende in de zomer van 2020 haar deuren voor resident artists,<\/strong> na 3 lange jaren van renovatie. Het huis heeft een lange <a href=\"https:\/\/lamaisondebeaumont.com\/nl\/la-maison-de-beaumont-history\/\">geschiedenis<\/a>, daterend uit de middeleeuwen. Het werd in het begin van de 18e eeuw over de ru\u00efnes van het kasteel van Beaumont gebouwd en diende aanvankelijk als residentie van de vertegenwoordiger van de koning van Frankrijk.
